„PT-AE4000 alias Tiresias“ ist eine Videoinstallation. In ihr erhält ein Beamer des Types PT-AE 4000 die Identität von Tiresias. Tiresias ist der blinde Seher. Der blinde Seher der Antike ist zu einem technischen Gerät geworden. Unaufhörlich strahlt er Bilder aus die er nicht wahrnehmen kann. Der Beamer ist blind und dennoch wirft ihm ein Spiegel seine Bilder zurück. Statt einer Reflexion bleibt aber nur ein Schatten übrig. Verständlicherweise ist der Beamer ein Misanthrop. Er sieht beständig das Unglück kommen ohne der Möglichkeit es abzuwenden. Am Schluss stellt er uns die Frage „Meinst du ich hätte keine Gefühle?“ Wer projiziert hier auf wen?
„PT-AE4000 alias Tiresias“ is video installation. In it a projector called PT-AE 4000 identifies as Tiresias. Tiresias is the blind prophet. He sees the future but not the present. The mythological figure from ancient greek became contemporary by morphing into a projector. Continuously he emits images he can´t perceive. The projector is blind and yet the mirrors throw back his images. Instead of a reflection there is only a shadow left behind. Understandably he turned into a misanthrope. Constantly he foresees the catastrophes without any opportunity to intervene. In the Ende he asks us „do you think I don´t have feelings?“ („Meinst du ich hätte keine Gefühle?“) Who projects on whom?
